Use your floor as soon as you're done Wait several hours for the glue to dry
Easy clean up Clean up glue-caked spreaders, rags and other materials
Relocate and reuse your floor in another room just by disassembling it Cut or pry the boards apart, with significant damage and loss
Joint integrity is covered by a lifetime warranty Joints usually aren't covered for glued floors
Better at handling horizontal and vertical stresses More likely to split along seams and glue joints

Features of  Laminate Flooring

Quality construction, through and through
A truly high quality floor will have a minimum of 4 layers:

layered board 1 The top layer would consist of a transparent scratch and stain resistant wear layer with a high taber (wear-resistance) value.

2 Next would be the design layer, a melamine resin impregnated paper, having various patterns and designs ranging from woodgrains to stone to even more imaginative and decorative type designs.

3 Then would come the core, which would be constructed of a high quality, high density fiberboard, manufactured with a water resistant glue.

4 Finally would be the stabilizing layer or balancing layer. This layer is also impregnated with melamine resin and is of a thickness to balance the product, thus eliminating "cupping" or "warping".
